An Evening on Coronado

With the possibility that we may be moving in the spring, my husband and I have been trying to see as many places in Southern Cali as we can. We haven't been down to Coronado since early 2008, so we decided to head down for some wine and the sunset!

Serenity & Kayle :: Family Lifestyle Shoot

This Thursday I spent the morning on the playground with Serenity and Kayle. Their mother had contacted me to surprise their father with updated pictures of them. Serenity is 5 and such a good older sister to 16-month old Kayle. How cool are both of their names, by the way?

When I arrived at their house, Serenity immediately took me up to see her pink princess room.

Kayle was still getting ready to go to the park, but Serenity was a little bummed we weren't there yet.

Off to the park! This was a treat for the kids, and they just took off running as soon as we arrived.

Love both of their smiles - how adorable!

Kayle is super adventurous and loves exploring.

Marissa :: Maternity Shoot

My good friend Marissa is pregnant with her first child - a girl named Paige, and I was privileged to spend a few hours shooting on the beach with her. She was so excited and enthusiastic about the shoot and was willing to try just about anything, so I took full advantage of that!

We started off with a few belly shots in her backyard.

Then we headed to the beach!

Love the expression.

She has the most adorable belly!

She is just glowing.

We grabbed a bite to eat and hung around for the sunset, but the cloud cover unfortunately shadowed most of it. We still caught a little bit of the color peeking through though!

Marissa, I hope the rest of the pregnancy goes quickly and safely for you. I can't wait to meet Paige in a few weeks!

Justine & Parker :: Family Lifestyle Shoot

Justine's step-son Parker was visiting from out of state, so we took the opportunity to get some images of them together. You can just tell how much he adores spending time with her, and how much she equally adores him.

We spent some time together in Oceanside at the beach, and then hit the pool too! Parker loves the water.

What a cutie!

He loves his swimmies and being able to go in the pool! No big waves to worry about.
