Ashley & Ira :: Family Shoot

Although we got off to a late start, Ashley and Ira rocked the time we had together for their family shoot Sunday night. Their two Pomeranians, Ella and Oscar, were adorable and so excited to go on a walk together.

Christina & John :: Maternity Shoot

Saturday I had the chance to meet up with Christina and her husband John for a maternity shoot. Christina is 34 weeks along and is expecting her little girl, Adayleen, at the end of October. She will be their first, and they both are so excited.

Her name barely fit on Christina's belly, but we made it work!

Heidi & Jimmy :: Pre-Deployment Session

On Monday I was privileged to shoot some images of Heidi and her husband Jimmy during the short time they had together. Jimmy is a Reservist in the Marine Corps, and is preparing for yet another deployment. During his 3 months of training out here on the West Coast, Heidi is holding down the homefront back East. He had a few days off from training, and Heidi got the opportunity to come out and see him for almost 3 days.

Everyone in the military lifestyle knows how precious pictures can be when you are separated from loved ones for months at a time, so we took a few hours to capture some great memories from Heidi's trip to California.

We started at the San Luis Rey Mission in Oceanside.

Then, we headed down to the beach, and found out it was high tide! We all ended up a bit wet, but we had a good time.

It was so easy to see how happy they were to be together again.

I love these three. What a goofy couple!
