Jake, Kyra & Cole :: Family Shoot

Last Sunday I met up with Jake, his wife Kyra, and their son Cole. We started at the gorgeous beach down in Encinitas, where Cole had his first experience with the ocean! He was a little unsure of it, so we headed a little further inland after a bit.

Tara & Corey :: Maternity Shoot

Tara and Corey met up with me at Camp Pendleton for a mini-maternity shoot! Tara really wanted some pictures of her & Corey together before he left for training, but is going to take some more by herself once she gets closer to her due date as well.

This is their first child, a boy named Trenton. I loved the name!

Liz & Tom :: Maternity Shoot

Last weekend I met up with Liz and her husband Tom for a maternity shoot. Liz actually saw her sister-in-law Katie's pictures from a few weeks ago, and wanted to schedule a session before their son was born.

Liz and Tom love playing video games, and to incorporate that into their images, we did part of the shoot at a local arcade. I walked in a few minutes early and met Liz - Tom was already out playing games :) After a while, we headed over to a local canyon for some outdoor images as well.

Celeste & Brett :: Homecoming

Thursday morning I was privileged to attend 1/5's homecoming after 7 months in Afghanistan. The date & time changed so many times, it was crazy, but Celeste emailed me late Wednesday night and said it was finally going to be Thursday morning.

We actually were worried we were going to be late, but it ended up being a "hurry up and wait" situation. Every other company but Brett's let the Marines go one by one after they were done at the armory, but Brett's decided to hold everyone and come in together.

This left Celeste waiting....and waiting....and waiting.

But, she was so happy to be getting texts from her husband again.

AAS Bn Christmas Party

Last night was AAS Bn's annual Christmas party, and I volunteered to take pictures of the kids with Santa.
