Shannon & Christine :: Predeployment Shoot

Last weekend I got together with Shannon & Christine for a predeployment shoot. Shannon is leaving shortly for Afghanistan, and there is nothing more meaningful when you are apart for months at a time than pictures. My husband is also gone right now, and at times it feels ridiculous how many photos I have of us around our condo. But - he's not here, so they serve as my constant reminder of our times together, and reassurance that we will have those good times together again in the future (eventually).

Since the couple wanted to do some with Shannon in his cammies, we did the whole shoot on Camp Pendleton, and managed to find some great places around the base.

Here are a few of my favorites! This couple was so photogenic and in love that it was so hard to choose which to share :)

Heather & Tyson :: Family Shoot

I met up with Heather and her husband Tyson last weekend in Encinitas to get some updated family pictures of them together. They were absolutely wonderful to work with, and made my job easy :)

Here's a few of my favorites. You can check out more photos on my Facebook page as well.

The O. Family

Last week I met up with Heidi and her husband Dan, and their children Liesl and Gus down in beautiful La Jolla. Their family just PCS'd here this summer, and are loving SoCal so far.

Here's a few of my favorites!

Katie & Sean :: Homecoming

Here's to the kickoff of this fall's many homecomings! This homecoming is from a few weeks ago in August, but I am finally catching up on updating my blog again.

I have soooo more many homecomings planned in the next few months that you will all be sick of seeing homecoming photos soon :) I wish there were more of me, because I hate having to say no to people when I have already planned a homecoming for that unit. I'm looking forward to helping welcome home many Marines in the next few months (including my husband!).

Here's a few of my favorites from Katie & Sean's homecoming.
